Job description


For one of our clients active in the FMCG, we are looking for a Customer Management Assistant.
Main responsibilities

  • Based on the strategy (National Category & Channel), you build a promo & assortment plan for the customers you are responsible for - in close collaboration with the Key Account Manager. You know and use the specific tools and templates of the customers.
  • You develop the promotion plans for your customers, following the promo policy & plan for your category.
  • In collaboration with the KAM, you manage volumes & price of the promotion plan in the TPM VF (Visual Fabriq)-tool.
  • In the TPM-tool, you add the different elements of the promotion (status 60) and ensure volume & price components are inputted correctly - The consecutive steps in the promotion management process are executed by the customer support team.
  • You communicate regularly with the customer support team to assure the execution and follow up of the customer plans.
  • In collaboration with the KAM's, you use the VF-tool to provide information about changes in the product assortment of your customers.
  • You participate in the execution and analysis of customer marketing at the concerned customers (e.g. Carrefour).
  • You are responsible for the creation of the specific assortment of your customers (displays, repack, Lidl, Aldi, Colruyt,…)
  • You execute ad hoc analyses for your customers according to KAM-briefs.
  • You support the KAM's with setting up the needed materials for the field team.
  • You support & participate in meetings related to the field force.
  • You contribute to & support the implementation of conferences & events for your customers.
  • You are the first point-of-contact for all customer questions around promotions and assortment. You regularly update them through email and phone calls of changes.
  • Your counterparts at the customer are the "buyer assistants" reporting in the Product Buyers


Profile

  • Minimum 2 years professional experience (sales)
  • FMCG-experience
  • Experience in close collaboration with external customers
  • Not afraid to pick up the phone
  • Capable of working in teams & working cross-functional
  • Knowledge about markets & products for which you are responsible
  • Dedicated to operational excellence (deliver the requested information in time & correct)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset - speak your mind and offer solutions
  • Capable & willing to learn new internal systems (primarily Visual Fabriq)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Fluent in Dutch & French. Able to communicate in both languages with customers (written & oral)
